i was going through a box filled to the brim with gorgeous prints at a carboot sale when i came across a drawing of a man and a woman in an embrace. it was a very quick sketch and not very detailed at all. i was instantly inspired and saw a vision for it immediately. i used the sketch as an outline for the composition of my painting, and just began to play on the canvas (chaotically) for several nights. 
the creatures in this series of work are often symbolic of personal demons, nightmares, or feelings, and my thoughts around them. i invite you to make your own interpretation of this painting.
